 Welcome! If you’re like us, it's become amazing what grocery stores charge for products. While the cost of fuel and other commodity items have indeed risen, prices seem to be on the verge of ridiculous. Perhaps over the years we have become accustomed to lower pricing from our wholesalers. It occurred to us, especially recently, that we should offer the community we serve a way to help you make your grocery dollar go further.
We don’t want to get into a full-time grocery business. But we do receive product four times a week in our restaurant to keep our food fresh. With that many deliveries, it became evident that we had a way to help folks get their groceries at a reduced price from what is offered locally and many times with better quality.
If you are looking for pretty packages or large variety, if you tend to buy groceries impulsively, or if you buy store brands, then this type of shopping experience is probably not for you. If you are looking to save substantial money (based on our last competitive analysis on 10/29 - about 35%) on your grocery staples, and you plan and organize what you need, then we encourage you to sign up. We feel that we can offer a great variety of products that people use most frequently at prices that can save you money in the long run without having to run 25+ miles out of town to achieve those savings.
We don't plan on running specials or savings clubs - we won't need to - we offer just plain old every day good fair pricing on the things you use the most.
We will purchase the items you order and have them ready for pick up on specified days - generally Thursday, Sunday, or Tuesday. For an added fee, we will be happy to deliver your groceries to you as well within a 10 mile radius of the Cafe. At this time, we are only accepting cash or checks (we don't accept checks at the restaurant regularly, so we need to approve your use of a check before we accept them). We plan to accept credit cards later as the service evolves. If you have a specific product you are looking for and we don’t currently offer that product, please click here and request it (them). We will do our best to accommodate your requests. As this program grows, we will, of course, be adding more and more products.
